Mid Century Lamps by Laurel w/Chess Piece Pattern Relief

Pair of "Chess" Lamps of Steel and Wood by Laurel. Identical lamps recently featured for $1500 on 1stDibs.
From the 1960's. These are quite heavy and solid featuring a repetitive motif of squares and raised chess piece bas relief. Note the king's crown that finishes the top of the column. Pedestal base in contrasting finish. Each lamp has a nice high quality heft to it, weighing approximately 8 pounds. 'Industrial Chic' in style and finish. Lampshades not included.
